Terrence will perform a mixture of classical and popular works, on piano and violin, including “Danny Boy”, “Que Cera Cera”, “You Raise Me Up”, a “Nocture” by Chopin, “Scherzo in G minor” by Brahms, and the Liszt-Paganini “Etude no. 6 in A minor”…amongst others!!!
Nineteen year old Terrence is going into his fourth year of studies at Western University (London, Ontario), pursuing a double instrument Performance Degree in Piano and Violin. He has volunteered as a musical performer at the Niagara Health System Hospital and at the Royal Henley Retirement Residence in St. Catharines. He was also a member of the Brock University String Orchestra, and the Western University Symphony Orchestra. He performed his first Lecture Recital on Mozart’s Sonata, K. 331 when he was 15. Recently he has been the recipient of several prizes, including first in his division, with a mark of 95%, in the Canadian Music Competition National Finals held in Québec City, in June 2022.
This concert is part of the Music on a Sunday Afternoon series, supported by a United Church Fresh Expressions grant. Admission is by free-will offering.
